About Us
Our Mission
The Meriwest Community Foundation is dedicated to fostering stronger communities, forging meaningful partnerships, and enhancing lives through the power of financial literacy and empowerment. Our vision is to create a world where everyone has the knowledge and resources to achieve financial stability and success. By providing education and support, we aim to empower individuals to make informed financial decisions, ultimately building a brighter future for all.
A Legacy of Service and Community Impact
The Meriwest Community Foundation was established to extend Meriwest Credit Union's long-standing commitment to people helping people beyond traditional financial services. Guided by the credit union philosophy of service, cooperation, and community support, the Foundation creates opportunities for individuals and families while helping build stronger communities.
For decades, Meriwest has recognized that financial well-being is a cornerstone of a thriving community. The Foundation furthers that commitment by supporting financial education, scholarships, volunteerism, and strategic community partnerships that expand access to knowledge, resources, and economic opportunity.
Today, the Meriwest Community Foundation works alongside local nonprofits, schools, and community organizations to make a meaningful impact where it matters most. Through charitable giving, educational initiatives, and volunteer engagement, we are helping create brighter futures for the communities we proudly serve.
